Copper and brass will naturally patinate over time, they will darken somewhat and their color will become more lustrous and rich.

We apply a coating to each piece to protect it from scratches and fingerprints. This coating also makes maintenance a cinch. Wiping your art gently with a slightly damp, soft cloth is pretty much it. For mirrors and picture frames, we recommend applying your glass cleaner directly to a paper towel and cleaning that way as opposed to spraying the glass directly. Chemicals can compromise the finish and damage the patinas. Copper, brass and stainless steel do scratch fairly easily so remember to treat it as you would any treasured possession, gently, lovingly and with the care it deserves.
