The Fish- Ichthys, or “The Jesus Fish” This symbol was used in ancient times as a code for believers to find the location of religious meetings held in secret lest the congregation be found and persecuted. It was also a way for fellow Christians to identify one another, each would complete a portion of the fish, one drawing the first arc, another the second, and if a third person was present they would draw an eye. This was usually scratched in the dirt at their feet. Today, there is no need for Christians to hide their faith and this symbol has become a means of rejoicing in it. Dimensions: 10-11/16” x 6”

We use copper, brass and stainless steel to make these tree toppers, one piece of each, in various combinations and I love the way the metals enhance and complement one another.
